| Users review: I just returned from seeing the blind side. I was impressed with the film, especially the poignant moments. Yes, this is a sports story, yes, this is a biographical film, but also a lot of interpersonal drama. It is rare to see a movie today that rely on drama to take no special effects, lush costumes historically accurate, or so stories that resonate with the only surprise public. The story is based on fact makes it contemporary resonance. The events that could have been handled above, can be exploited to predict or dramatic was presented in a nuanced and deep. Michaels mother portrayed with dignity and compassion. In short, the story looks heartwarming and inspiring Michaels makes shooting with skill and integrity. Negative vote by the film that started when the only trailer available - I think the comment might better reflect the world view of the author and do not reflect the quality of the movie or reality Michaels story. Some people think that the movie Kill a Mockingbird is a story about racism in the South, or tears Game is a film about the IRA - to me, is the stage for the drama, and the drama itself. John Lee Hancock really started when faced much this project, but as it turned out, was no more than you can chew. Remember when Attorney General Eric Holder to comment on how we are a nation of cowards when it comes to openly discuss race? With this film, Hancock has shown that not one of these cowards. He does not ignore racial differences or the characters in this film, and he avoided using the film to make a social statement with the film. He allowed that character traits to be what they really are, and the human drama told in an effective and responsive. |
