| Users review: This story unfolds as Duke, played by James Garner, reads a story about two young men in the 1940s who fall in love and life support. The film moves between now and 1940. It is structurally very similar to Fried Green Tomatoes, which is also one of movies.Unlike Fried Green Tomatoes my all-time favorites, it focuses on young love grows and going through wars and disagreements of parents. Of course, the key issue is the Romeo and Juilet, but the way it unfolds and exceptional charisma that actors bring to the screen makes it feel fresh and not entirely predictable. This is a deeply romantic film. If you're cynical at all about romance, love and eternal dedicaçãoa another person, you may find yourself rolling your eyes a little. I'm not as cynical about the emotional ties that bind us and I was completely taken by story.This is such a beautiful movie. The characters are very human and very easy. All players turn performances.Technically captivating and engaging, this film is exceptional too. The scenes during the opening credits is absolutely breathtaking. The editing is very good. The story is compelling from the opening credits to the closing credits.My woman and I'm not always the same perspective on movies, but we agree on this one. We both loved immensely. I am sure this will become part of our permanent collection. |
