| Users review: High? Rounds misfit Carrie (Sissy Spacek) released her telekinetic? Esta her tormentors. It was a big hit in 1976, and I'm scared silly. I'm not afraid? Learn now (except for the closure order), but I still? I always think it's a good solid horror nicely handled by Brian De Palma. It moves very fast, has some nice shots (all soft-focus shot with butterfly? Enim color) and has almost uniformly good game. The only bad? While John Travolta way out of his depth playing the hood. Amy Irving (student who befriends Carrie), William Katt (very 70s afro), Nancy Allen (playing a real bitch), Betty Buckley (so young and full of energy) and PJ Soles (stupid but beneath? Inseparable) are perfect? protected. But Spacek is a great match with Piper Laurie is very frightening?-Operation and wonderful and deranged, religious mother. Also pictures (by the standards of the day) is very restrained? Exact in terms of blood and gore. And the final sequence will jump (also take the car in the background while - moving backwards) only complaint? Be - De Palma really hate some of the medium? Cakes children - to make you feel like hes working out some personal issues here. And did we really need slow-mo here? sequence in the beginning? That aside - it's a great movie. See letter boxed. |
