Users review: I took the survey Philly Sin City yesterday, and I must say I take my hat off. Some comic book movies were never as good on the screen. The X-Men and Spider-Man movies have done a good job of breaking down the stigma. In my opinion, the above films were a perfect fusion of Hollywood and the world of comics, but Sin City amounts to a form of art, literally. And "hands down, the best representation of a comic book movie ever filmed. After catching the trailer on a TV commercial, I was intrigued, to say the least. So I went to my comic book store and I bought books by Frank Miller film is based on, and they appreciated for its timeless humor, incredible violence, and stories Love, desire, friendship, honor and redemption seedily-earned money in the underground world of fiction Basin City. After more contact with the owner of the Comic Book store, he clued me in to the presentation before March 16 (yesterday I post this), and a child on his way to pick up the latest issues of all comics are popular these days, I took a day off and I went to the presentation. Having recently read the stories that are included in the film (Sin City, later renamed to The Hard Goodbye, The Big Fat Kill, and Yellow Bastard), I was amazed how the dialogue and narration books actually made for the big screen translation. This from a guy whose heart has been torn from the degeneracy of the sum of all fears, keep in mind - I know what it's like to have a book who does not like to have loving attention we think it deserves when it hits the big screen. The dialogue is not always the best (just a comic, not Shakespeare, people) and also the best player in the world will not change that. But seriously, if you are paying attention to this minor fault, you're missing the point of the movie to start. Besides the dialogue, imagery of the film is something to be appreciated, if you like the stories or not. Equally beautiful and gritty black and white, with occasional brushes color everyone, but they explode off the screen, the comic (graphic novel for you purists) act as a storyboard for this movie, life is breathed into the still images on the pages. The book section of the screen that will undoubtedly be a feature of the future DVD release of this film will undoubtedly lose some jaws for those who havent bothered to vee , check the starting material. Cold, cruel humor and over-the-top violence wince-inducing mixture public in the style of Pulp Fiction and From Dusk Till Dawn, for obvious reasons, but, as I have already said, this is directly from books. Congratulations to Robert Rodriguez to avoid jeopardizing the realization of this film and its commitment to the original material, and also co-director Frank Miller for his obvious contributions . And for the players it-up. My favorite way performance was turned in by Mickey Rourke plays Marv absolutely letter perfect in the book (and it shows one of the best narrative voices I've heard in a film by Morgan Freeman in The Shawshank Redemption). Elijah Wood has a speaking role, but its follow Kevin at home as well as junior Nick Stahls earlier. Clive Owen as Dwight is solid (and I know a lot of geeks fan-boys there were upset that was chosen for the character) and Bruce Willis does what he does more like a cop out custom, Hartigan. The sensational female performance is a draw between the two Rosario Dawson for his Valkyrie, warrior, Gail prostitute, or (say it kills) Brittany Murphy as a maid Ms. Friday. The film is definitely not for everyone, and children should not be allowed in buildings that also come from theaters showing the film, but will undoubtedly be much discussed film as we progress in Hollywoods usually called pre-Summer in February / March / April offer.
